Meet Cassandra Goodwin ND

We are very excited to welcome Cassandra Goodwin Naturopathic Doctor to our clinic, helping us to give more timely, top quality naturopathic care for the greater Saint John community!  Please continue to read below to learn more.

One of my main inspirations as a naturopathic doctor is the personal power we have over our lives and health. Through the various tools that Naturopathic Medicine has to offer, I believe my patients can move from simply surviving daily life to thriving every day, leading to fuller, more connected lives, and ultimately feeling vibrant everyday.

My background:

I grew up in Charlottetown, PEI as part of a large family. I graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, and promptly left to travel, learn more about how others in the world view wellness, and discover more about myself. After travelling for two years, I began to study naturopathic medicine in New Westminster, BC at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, where I graduated in the spring of 2015. I practiced for just over two years outside Charlottetown, PEI before joining Roots to Branches Whole Health Clinic in 2017.
While a naturopathic student, I spent part of my clinical training at Vancouver’s queer resource center, Qmunity, and my practice is a safe space for all gender and sexual expressions. I also spent time at Positive Living BC, a meeting place for HIV pos people, and have experience working with the challenges that may go with the medications and health concerns specific to HIV.
