What we put into our body has an enormous impact on how we feel. I believe a diet that prioritizes whole foods is the foundation for improving overall wellness.  When I assess your nutritional status, I’m not only looking at the food that you eat, but also how your body is actually absorbing and using those nutrients.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I have studied hundreds of herbs. I have extensive training related to the safe use and prescription of herbs to avoid unwanted and potentially dangerous interactions with medications and/or certain health conditions.

Asian medicine has a unique philosophy on health and wellness. It is based on moving the body’s Chi (energy) using herbs and acupuncture to help correct imbalances.

Laboratory Testing

LabTests

To support my other services and better assess your health concerns, I also offer clients laboratory testing. Lab tests are provided through Rocky Mountain Analytical, ZRT, Meridian Valley, and Genova Diagnostics – all certified labs. Please note tests vary in cost depending on test being performed and are in addition to appointment fees. Be sure to check with your individual insurance provider as some offer coverage for lab testing if it is ordered by a Naturopathic Doctor and completed by a certified lab. Tests are completed using samples of either blood, saliva, or urine (or a combination of all three). Most commonly recommended tests available include:

  • Hormone Testing (Female hormones, Thyroid panel, Cortisol testing for adrenal function)
  • Food Sensitivity Testing (+/- Candida)
  • Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis
  • Speciality Profiles: Weight Management Profile, Fertility Profile
  • Environmental Toxins
