A Little About Me

A Little About Me

I want to help you feel your best and achieve greater long-term health. I believe you should be involved in every step of the process, so you can make decisions that will move you closer to your goals.

I believe in combining modern research and evidence-based medicine while getting back to the basics and using the gifts nature has given us. Most of all, I believe being healthy is about having fun, being inspired, and sharing some laughs.

But balance is key: I love a plate of nachos as much as anyone else.

My Background

I grew up in Quispamsis and am a graduate of Kennebecasis Valley High School. I received my Bachelor of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick Saint John. I am proud to say I was awarded the Nurse’s Association of New Brunswick President’s Award for Excellence in Nursing from my professors in my graduating year.

I worked full-time as a Registered Nurse at the Saint John Regional Hospital in acute care settings (internal medicine and oncology), where I discovered my passion for helping others feel better.

After a very rewarding personal experience with naturopathic medicine (My Road to Naturopathic Medicine) I followed my heart and pursued further education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON – where I completed the 4-year full-time medical training program to become a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. I am registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapists-Ontario, and am a member of both the New Brunswick Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

I have been practicing naturopathic medicine in Rothesay, NB, since 2012 and have a special interest in women’s health, digestive issues, and anxiety and depression.
